Go Be It

When nothing is owed or deserved or expected
And your life doesn’t change by the man that’s elected
If you’re loved by someone, you’re never rejected
Decide what to be and go be it

There was a dream and one day I could see it
Like a bird in a cage I broke in and demanded that somebody free it
And there was a kid with a head full of doubt
So I’ll scream til I die and the last of those bad thoughts are finally out
The Avett Brothers

This song is everything I say to myself on a daily basis, and I know I’m not alone. Fighting for your dream is hard! Everyday you make the choice whether to work for your dream or to give up. To listen to those voices of doubt or to ignore them & prove them wrong.

When I started working with the girls at Horsefeather Gifts to create the exclusive bracelet for Girl Hearts Camera, there was no question what it would say.

Go Be It.

Go be a dreamer, be a believer, be a friend, be your best, be kind, be generous, be forgiving, be everything you always wanted to be & more. Believe in yourself enough to live your dream. When the rest of the world is saying ‘You can’t’, look at them and say, ‘Watch me go be it.’.

This one-of-a-kind bracelet is an exclusive piece created just for the Girl Hearts Camera community. The words ‘go be it’ are stamped onto bronze metal and then strung through hand dyed silk, which you wrap & tie around your wrist to make a bracelet. The colors and metal, as well as the wording, were all carefully & specifically chosen by me to be a representation of everything Girl Hearts Camera stands for and believes in.

You can purchase your exclusive bracelet by visiting the shoppe and placing your order. They take about 2-3 weeks to make (each bracelet is made to order) and the price includes shipping with my signature packaging.

I also really want to gift a bracelet to one very special & lucky person!

  • Alice Hay - I love this saying more for my son than for me but it is encouraging me to tell him to GO BE IT. He has been dealing with bullies at school this year. He is 11. It has really hurt him deeply and his emotions are running high. As he told me this morning he has had issues his whole life and he just doesn’t know how to make them stop. (He also has a hip disorder called Perthes.) As he was walking out the door I remembered your saying and I said hey T Go Be It, to which he smiled and gave me a nod of his head. I just love that boy. Thanks for inspiring me to inspire him.ReplyCancel

  • Amanda Mattingly - “Go be it” has been a driving force in my life for almost two and a half years now. In March of 2010, I was diagnosed with a large tumor on my pancreas, the tumor was missed by doctors for over a year. It almost killed me in every way possible. I lost my job because I was so sick I couldn’t move without crying or being physically ill. I lost my house because of the overwhelming medical bills and in all I had lost my will to live. It had taken everything away in my life I had worked so hard for. After overcoming the many obstacles that had been placed before me, I opened Say Anything Photography & Digital Services and my mother told me to “Go Be It”. She has been my driving force and my biggest supporter in my business venture. Only now can I look back and be thankful for everything that has happened. Without the struggle I endured I would not be where I am today. Running a flourishing business and doing what I absolutely love everyday of my life. The life I fought so hard to keep. So when I have a bad day or am feeling a little off, she still says “go be it”! This is what you were put on earth to do!ReplyCancel

  • Amanda Mattingly - http://pinterest.com/pin/83387030572108396/ Pinned and shared on my facebook pages as well! Great contest!ReplyCancel

  • Trae - This would be amazing to win. I have been trying to push myself to actually take my own product photos. But I am filled with self loathing — or loathing of my own photos, that I just can’t seem to do it. So winning this – wearing this would be a reminder that I just need to – Go Do It. :) ReplyCancel

  • Nicole - After its rise in popularity during the 1940s, pizza pie restaurant chains began springing
to life all around the country. Often that’s what prospects do when you annoy them with your barketing. Gurgaon is famous for its hospitality and when it’s
time to party Gurgaon have lots of bar in the city to enjoy.ReplyCancel
